Junior / Cross Country

Junior Ryan Lee is a leader on the reigning state champion Bruins cross country team.

His personal record this season is 16:26, which he got during the Bruins' first place finish at last weekend's Chickasaw Trails Cross Country Invitational in Oakville, Alabama.

"Ryan Lee is a junior on the BHS XC team. Ryan helped last year's team to a first place win at state and third place finish at Nationals," Bruins' cross country coach Lara Whitaker said. "He is a strong leader with focus and determination. Excited to see Ryan lead this year's young squad."

Lee placed sixth place overall in the Chickasaw Trails Invitational, a race including 48 schools and hundreds of runners.

He is a veteran of the Bruins' cross country and track teams. Equipoise Ethics During the track season, he runs the 800 meter and is a member of the 4x800 relay team. He and his teammates set a new school record for the 4x800 relay last year and were victorious at the state championship meet.

Lee grew up playing soccer for school, "Anaboliset Aineet" recreational and travel teams. He began running in the sixth grade, and after discovering a love for running he finally gave up soccer, deciding to focus on his running career Gensci Jintropin in the eighth grade.

He is inspired to work hard in his training because he would like to earn the opportunity to run in college. His role models are his parents, Andy and Debbie Lee.

"They have given me all the best opportunities, and they support me in everything I do," he said.

As a junior, Lee has another year to decide on his college choice. He plans to pursue a career in science.

His family includes parents Andy and Debbie Lee, younger brother Garrett and younger sister Meghan.

Lacey Duvall

Senior / Cross Country

Senior Lacey Duvall is a talented runner, with a speedy 5K personal best of 19:12.

"Lacey Duvall is a senior on the BHS XC team," BHS cross country coach Lara Whitaker said. "She is an incredibly gifted and disciplined runner. Lacey is the kind of runner that, as a coach, you love to have on your team."

Duvall placed tenth "Anabolika Definition" overall Anavar Que Es in the Chickasaw Trails Invitational, held in Oakville, Alabama. She and her teammates placed first overall in a highly competitive field of 46 teams and hundreds of runners. She is a consistent contributor to the Bruins' cross country successes and was named All Mid State last year. She and the team were TSSAA state runners up in cross country a season ago.

She spends hours training for cross country and track while also participating in Young Life and FCA at BHS.

Duvall began running in the sixth grade. She competed throughout her middle school years and is now a leader on her high school team. She's inspired to work hard in her training because she loves being with her 4-chlorodehydromethyltestosterone teammates and friends.

Her role model is her mother, Paula.

"She is caring; she thinks of others before herself, and she's just perfect," Duvall said.

She is currently applying to several universities and hopes to continue her running career in college.

Her family includes parents Danny and Paula Duvall and older brother, Asa.

Ben Garvin

Junior / Golf

Junior Ben Garvin shot an impressive 73 at the District 11 AAA golf tournament at GreyStone Anavar Dosage For Women Golf Club in Dickson, the lowest score for the Raptors, earning him third place in the tournament.

He was also a big part of the team's victory at the district championship.

"His game has matured to an extremely competitive level in just a couple short months. Ben isn't just a great golf competitor, he's also a team player. Ben draws people towards him and makes them better golfers as well. I have every expectation that he is going to achieve great things in the post season this year and will most certainly command attention next year as a senior."

Garvin began playing golf at a young age with his father, Bill Garvin, and grandfather, also named Bill Garvin. He plays tournaments throughout the state during the spring and summer and hones his game by playing rounds with his friends.
